Sam Potolicchio teaches Politics and Public Policy and Research Methods for the Semester in Washington Program at Georgetown University. At Georgetown, Potolicchio has taught courses on Presidential Rhetoric, Religion and Politics, Constitutional Law, and the United States Political System. He is the founding faculty member and academic member of the Preparing Global Leaders Summit in Moscow, Russia at the Russian Presidential Academy and the Preparing Global Leaders Institute in Tetovo, Macedonia at SEEU. He is also the academic director for Georgetown’s Global Visiting Student Program.
Potolicchio was named by the Princeton Review as one of the “Best Professors in America” in 2012. He has won numerous teaching awards at Georgetown and the K.Patricia Cross Award from the American Association of Colleges and Universities as one of the future leaders of American higher education in 2011. He is the lecturer on American Federalism for the Open World Leadership program at the Library of Congress, where he speaks weekly to visiting dignitaries from the post-Soviet republics. Potolicchio’s book chapters on Religion and Politics have been published in volumes by Congressional Quarterly Press and Oxford University Press. He has delivered keynote lectures internationally at over 70 different universities in 24 countries. Potolicchio has taught students during his summers from almost 100 different countries. He is currently the lecturer on American Politics at Georgetown’s Global Education Institute where he lectures to government officials and businessmen from China and Japan. Potolicchio also serves as an administrator at the Landon School and as a basketball coach has guided his team, the Jelleff Hoyas to 6 undefeated championship seasons. He was educated at Georgetown and Harvard.
Nancy Bocskor, tagged a “Democracy Coach” by a major German newspaper, teaches citizens in the United States and internationally how to communicate with passion to affect change in their communities.
Nancy Bocskor is on the board of Running Start, an organization that encourages young women to enter public service. A past Vice President of the Women’s Campaign School at Yale, she chaired the school’s Curriculum Committee for five years.
Alena Popova is the founder of the Open Projects Foundation, investor, entrepreneur. She is actively promoting and popularizing the system of eGovernment and eDemocracy, and supports and promotes civic network projects and initiatives (government 2.0).

Alena is proudly involved in developing the eGovernment initiatives in Russia. Founder of Virtual Incubator for Gov 2.0 projects in Russia named Gov2People, she also launched first contest for developers in eGov called Code4Russia. Alexander Selivanov, Ph.D., Director of Russian Institute for Advanced Study in Humanities and Technology (RIAS) and Associate Professor at the Institute for Politics, Law and Social Development at Sholokhov Moscow State University for Humanities, is a geopolitical expert and a regular Seliger Forum speaker with wide-ranging interests – from Russia’s relations with the US and EU to domestic issues (terrorist threats, opposition vs. state, tolerance and multiculturalism, education and leadership etc.).
He holds a doctorate degree in Education and is working on his second doctorate in Political Science.
Selivanov has an extensive experience of working with youth in Russia and abroad, acting as both organizer and speaker at various youth events. His most recent big event was the First International Youth Storytelling Festival.
During 2008 he organized visits and chaired meetings of Russian delegates to Germany (German Council on Foreign Affairs, Russian Embassy in Berlin), the US (UN Assembly in NYC), Australia (Australian National University and Canberra University), The Netherlands (Leiden University), and France (Sciences Po). In 2008 he spoke at the ENP conference in the Hague about Russia, US and EU in the aftermath of the Georgian war.
Selivanov is a guest expert for the Russia Today channel and its Arabic branch – Rusya Al-Yaum (interviews are available at www.rt.com). He speaks on issues of domestic and international security, global politics and international relations. He is also interested in electronic government practices and social media as a political tool. In 2010-2011 Alexander acted as one of the experts for the International Media Project in Siberia.
His recent publications are focussed on multiculturalism policies in Russia and the West and knowledge-based economy.
